Providing services as a Personal Protection Officer require an advanced training course to provide these services. PPOs operate in plain clothes and conceal their weapons providing a discreet and comforting presence to their clients who are often VIP's and important persons. Come learn the details of being a professional body guard/personal protection officer. The State of Texas only requires 15-hours to complete this course. We increased the course to 24-hours due to the serious nature of this license and the training we believe you need to not just become licensed but properly serve your clients and feel prepared to do so. Please note: You must have a Non-Commissioned Security Officer license and/or certificate and Commissioned Security Officer license and/or certificate in hand in order to successfully register with the State of Texas.
